Are You Too Busy to Take Care of Your Best Asset?
My friend, Dr Ann Quinn, Head of Sports Science & Innovation for the Lawn Tennis Association Great Britain sends me her weekly newsletter, Quinnessential Quote.
After a recent trip to Spain she included the following Spanish proverb: "A man too busy to take care of his health is like a mechanic too busy to take care of his tools."
Most men who come to Entre Nous have made an effort to look fit and healthy before they come to us. They think that women are interested in how fit they are. They take up a gym membership to get in shape before they start meeting women.
They do this also because they want to justify asking for a fit and healthy woman.
However many women are unaware that men have an innate need for a healthy looking and fit woman. For thousands (or is it millions of years) men have wanted women who are fit and healthy for procreation. He may describe it as slim and attractive but what is really important is that she is able to provide him with healthy heirs.
The need, however, doesn't stop once he is no longer interested in having children. His desire for fit and healthy continues because it's an innate desire.
Healthy to him means healthy skin, healthy hair as well as a healthy body. It's the overall appearance that catches his eye. His idea of fit and healthy is slim and attractive. Someone who cares about herself and her health. No one wants a health risk, especially a man.
To a man, an oversized woman is a health risk, diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure, stroke and cancer. No matter how attractive or well dressed she is, he will report back to us: "She is a heart attack waiting to happen" or "I want a woman who can keep up with me, if she was 20 kilos lighter and fit enough to keep up with me she would be just right".
It's a cruel world, if you find that you do not attract the fit healthy men you would like to attract take a look at yourself. You can only attract what you have to offer.
You may be fit and very healthy but if you have indulged yourself into being above average, you may feel fit but men will only judge you on your appearance not on your last medical check-up.
A man's idea of attractive is slim and healthy. No matter how beautiful your face is and no matter how well you dress, to a man you are not beautiful unless you look slim and healthy i.e. slim and fit.
A man's idea of slim is what we call average. He is not looking for a bean pole or really slim, he prefers shape. For women of average height size 12 is the perfect dress size. If you are shorter your dress size goes down and if you are taller you can get away with a size 14.
At Entre Nous 98% of all men ask for slim, fit and healthy. There is no getting away from it; even girls who are muscle bound and look a bit too solid are passed by.
If you would "never lose weight for a man" but you want a man, how will you attract a man if you don't have what he wants?
Men are basic creatures. They want different things from what women want. We chose very carefully for a middle aged professor, mindful of his academic status, until he advised us that if he wanted to intellectualise he could do that with his colleagues. What he wanted from Entre Nous was a woman who looked like a women with a good shape.
At Entre Nous we have every type of man imaginable; we can cater for all your needs. Our only challenge is to ensure that you are what;"the type of man you want" is attracted to you.
